Redgate Monitor SaaS dashboard

Monitor your entire server estate from a single pane of glass

Database estates are becoming increasingly complex. Keeping on top of performance issues across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and more, takes time you and your team don't always have. Add in a cloud transformation journey, and it’s critical you have estate-wide observability across hosted or hybrid environments in a single view.

Redgate Monitor gives you instant problem diagnosis and customizable alerting across your estate, so you can catch and fix issues before they cause downtime, customer complaints, or 3am wake-up calls. All in one dashboard, Redgate Monitor fits seamlessly into your cloud architecture and keeps your team one step ahead.

Now available as SaaS

There's no extra infrastructure needed: install a lightweight agent, and Redgate takes care of the rest. You’ll also get instant access to the latest features the day they ship, so you get more value, faster, from Redgate. If you’re familiar with the self-hosted edition of Redgate Monitor, get the same dashboards, the same alerting, the same multi-platform support — delivered as a managed service.

The frontend of Redgate Monitor SaaS is noticeably fast, which is crucial when trying to figure out issues. Because it is a SaaS product, we have no extra costs related to having the servers on-prem. A simple gateway server for the agent is all we needed.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the platform operate?

On AWS, with two regions currently available: us-west-1 (US) and eu-west-2 (EU).

Where does the customer data live?

Data resides in isolated tenant environments unique to each company — it is never shared with other customers.

What certifications do you have?

Redgate maintains ISO 27001 certification. Security details and certificates are available at the Redgate Trust Centre.

What steps have you taken to secure the platform?

We implement platform hardening, conduct regular DAST scanning, and perform both internal and external penetration testing.

What are Agents?

Agents are how data is collected in Redgate Monitor SaaS. They behave like a stripped-down version of the Base Monitor service and are installed on your infrastructure to send monitoring data to the platform.

Can I use multiple Agents?

Yes. Multiple Agents can send data to the SaaS platform, which is useful for proximity monitoring or where network separation requires it.

How is it different from self-hosted Redgate Monitor?

The core monitoring capabilities are the same. The key difference is that with SaaS, Redgate manages the hosting, upgrades, and infrastructure. For a full breakdown of differences and currently unsupported features, see the documentation.

Where can I learn more about your security policies and how you handle customer data?

The best place to find this information is the Redgate Trust Centre, which covers data handling, security policies, and certifications.

What is the data retention period for Redgate Monitor SaaS?

The service uses Redgate Monitor’s default retention period settings.

Do all of Monitor’s integrations work?

All integrations work except those listed on the unsupported features page in our documentation.

How can I get support for Redgate Monitor SaaS?

Support is available through the existing Redgate support channels.

What is the availability of the platform?

While we don’t have a formal SLA, our team targets 99.9% availability of the platform.

Is there an upgrade path from self-hosted to SaaS?

Yes, upgrading is possible. There is currently no migration tool to transfer existing data and settings between versions, so historical data would need to be rebuilt in the SaaS environment.
