Pricing and editions
Every Redgate Monitor edition provides the same multi-platform view from a single dashboard. Standard covers the core monitoring estate; Enterprise adds the advanced alerting, security and scale capabilities that large and regulated estates need.
Monitor one of the below per server license
x1 server (Multiple instances)
You will require one license per server, regardless of how many instances are on that server.
x5 Azure SQL Databases
One Redgate Monitor license allows you to monitor up to 5 Azure SQL Databases.
x1 Cloud (PaaS) instance
One license covers one node on Microsoft Azure Managed Instance, Microsoft Azure Flexible Server, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, or Google Cloud SQL. In multi-node environments like Aurora clusters, each monitored node requires its own license.
x1 Cluster node
Redgate Monitor supports monitoring Windows failover clusters. You will need one license for each node in a monitored cluster. Other proprietary clustering server systems aren't supported, and might not behave as expected.
x1 Virtual machine
You can monitor database instances running on Virtual Machines (VMs). One Redgate Monitor license is required per VM being monitored.
