Customer-led, independently proven: Redgate Monitor’s G2 Spring 2026 awards
Recognition that starts (and ends) with customers
Every quarter, G2 publishes seasonal reports and awards badges based on authenticated customer reviews, not paid ranking, to highlight top-performing B2B software products.
For Spring 2026, Redgate Monitor had a standout showing, earning 14 new badges, including several “Best / Most” awards that go to just one single product in every category.
We’re genuinely proud of every badge as proof of our customers’ trust, because at Redgate, we believe the best software outcomes come from the same place: enabling our customers to succeed. So, we want to zoom in on the three badges that say something important about how we work, not just what we build: Best Relationship, Best Results (Enterprise), and Most Implementable.
1) Best Relationship: partnership isn’t a slogan - it’s the work
Best Relationship matters to us because it reflects something we talk about a lot internally: when our customers succeed, we succeed too.
A monitoring tool sits close to the heart of your organization. When something’s wrong, you’re under pressure. When something’s unclear, you lose time. When something’s noisy, you lose sleep. So, the relationship you have with your monitoring vendor is never a “nice to have” - it shapes your day-to-day reality.
The best sign that we are doing our job, is customers telling other customers that the experience of working with us is solid - that we show up, listen, and keep improving.
And we see those themes come through in the words reviewers use. One G2 reviewer described Redgate Monitor as helping make troubleshooting “fast and stress-free,” pointing to the value of clarity when it matters most.
That’s what we want the Redgate Monitor experience to feel like: you’re supported, you’re not alone, and you can move from “what’s happening?” to “here’s the cause”, and “here’s what you need to do” with confidence.
A good relationship goes beyond just what our solution can offer you. Our why customers love Redgate Monitor page brings together customer stories, feedback, and the themes we hear consistently from the people using Redgate Monitor in the real world.
2) Best Results (Enterprise): outcomes recognized by the people doing the job
We actually won Best Results in two categories – Best Results and Best Results (Enterprise). We’re highlighting the Enterprise badge specifically though because enterprise environments are rarely simple. More complexity. Higher stakes. More dependencies. More stakeholder impact when something breaks.
So Best Results (Enterprise) is special because it points to a clear idea: Redgate Monitor doesn’t just collect metrics - it helps teams achieve outcomes at-scale, even in the most complex, diversified, and largest estates.
On the G2 page, reviewers repeatedly talk about speed to diagnosis and the ability to act quickly. One reviewer highlighted that Monitor “has proven to be an invaluable tool in our project for proactive monitoring and alerting of SQL Server databases and workloads.” and "DBAs can quickly identify, troubleshoot and resolve potential issues" as a result of the real-time metrics and insights readily being available.
The “results” in plain terms:
- You find root cause faster, so your team stops burning cycles on investigation
- With fewer fire drills eating up the week, people stay focused on planned work
- That breathing room shifts the team from reactive fixes to proactive performance and reliability improvements
- And all of that proactive work generates the reporting and evidence you need when it's time to bring leadership or other teams along
3) Most Implementable: making the switch feel straightforward
Changing monitoring tools can feel disruptive. There’s the fear of gaps in coverage, the worry about rollout effort and cost, and the (very real) question: “Will we be worse off before we’re better off?”
That’s why Most Implementable is such a meaningful badge. It’s an external signal, from first-hand customer experience, that Redgate Monitor is a tool teams can get up and running easily and quickly.
And again, customers say this better than we can. One G2 reviewer called out that “Redgate Monitor takes just ten minutes to install,” and also noted "I can understand what to use in thirty seconds, which makes it really easy to get started”.
We know “implementable” isn’t just about a setup wizard. It’s about:
- Knowing what you're deploying and why, so the first steps aren't a leap of faith
- That clarity translates into a rollout your team can follow - not just the one engineer who set it up
- When something doesn't fit neatly, there's a path forward that doesn't stall the whole project
- And because none of this depended on heroics, it stays implemented - not just installed
That’s why, on top of a robust monitoring solution, Redgate provides a world-class support team, and onboarding guidance, to ensure you can start seeing value as soon as possible.

Thank you (and where to see the reviews)
