SQL Clone Product Launch - Livestream

On Wednesday 29th March, we hosted a livestream to celebrate the launch of our new database provisioning tool SQL Clone. The event was broadcast live from Redgate HQ in Cambridge UK at 8am, 1pm and 6pm to give as many of you from across the world a chance to join in.

The sessions were recorded and are available to watch on the Redgate YouTube channel.

Grant Fritchey


Grant Fritchey is a SQL Server MVP with over 20 years experience in IT including time spent in support and development.

Grant has worked with SQL Server since version 6.0 back in 1995. He has developed in VB, VB.Net, C# and Java. Grant volunteers at PASS with the Editorial Committee and is president of the Southern New England SQL Server Users Group (SNESSUG). He has authored books for Apress and Simple-Talk, and joined Redgate as an Advocate in January 2011.


Steve Jones

Steve Jones is a Microsoft SQL Server MVP and has been working with SQL Server since version 4.2 on OS/2. After working as a DBA and developer for a variety of companies, Steve co-founded the community website SQLServerCentral.com in 2001.

Since 2004, Steve has been the full-time editor of the site, ensuring it continues to be a great resource for SQL Server professionals. Over the last decade, Steve has written hundreds of articles about SQL Server for SQLServerCentral.com, SQL Server Standard magazine, SQL Server Magazine, and Database Journal.


Richard Macaskill

Product Manager at Redgate

Richard is a Product Manager at Redgate, having previously spent almost 20 years in IT management, database administration and development for Insurance and Financial Services firms in London, back-filling other roles along the way. He spends much of his time boring anyone in earshot about the DevOps and automation implications of financial compliance and audit.

Chris Hurley

Software Engineer at Redgate

Chris Hurley has been a developer at Redgate for the past four years. After working on the ANTS Profilers and SQL Compare, he joined the team pioneering development of SQL Clone a year ago. He has seen SQL Clone through from initial research phase to the launch of the first version of the product.
