Via a simple, manual process of schema comparison and reconciliation, using SQL Compare, to eliminate inconsistencies, and then use of Flyway command line for deployments, we can stabilize our deployment pipeline and reduce failure rate. We can also use 'dry run' scripts to increase visibility of the proposed database changes.
