We’ve ‘cloned’ SQL in the City Streamed

sql-clone-live-stream-300x600Following the success of SQL in the City Streamed back in December, we’re excited to let you know that we’re running another virtual live stream event this month. This time, it will focus exclusively on our new tool, SQL Clone.

Join the SQL Clone product launch Live Stream on 29th March

Our popular evangelists and Data Platform MVPs, Steve Jones and Grant Fritchey, together with Redgate Product Manager and former Financial Services DBA, Richard Macaskill, and Software Engineer Chris Hurley will present three 90-minute live stream sessions throughout the day on Wednesday, 29th March.

Each session will be streamed live with the aim to get you fully up-to-speed with Redgate’s new database provisioning tool.

The live stream session will cover the challenges many organizations face when provisioning databases and demonstrate how SQL Clone leverages Microsoft’s proven virtualization technology to help overcome these problems.

You’ll see how fast and easy it is to create clones with a demo of the tool, and you’ll learn how to automate the process using PowerShell. After a deep dive into the technology behind SQL Clone, they’ll also be time for a Q&A session to answer any of your questions.

It’s simple to participate

The live streams will take place at 08:00, 13:00 and 18:00 BST (GMT + 1 hour). Just choose a time slot that best fits your schedule, and then dedicate 90 minutes to learning more from the experts about database provisioning, and how to do it using SQL Clone.

Sign up now, and then tune in live on 29th March. Don’t forget to share the details of the live stream with your colleagues, so they can watch from the comfort of their desk too.

In running this product launch event via live stream, we aim to reach more of you around the world than would be possible by hosting various events in-person. That’s the upside – the drawback is that we’ll miss the opportunity to hear your feedback face-to-face.

To help the live stream event retain some of the social engagement and interactions that come with an in-person event, we’ll be running competitions during the live stream, and rewarding those tuned in who ask questions and share their thoughts and feedback with us socially using #sqlclone on Twitter.

SQL Clone has just launched, so we’re really excited to show you how it works and the problems it can solve. Sign up now to see us and learn more about it on Wednesday, 29th March.
