Redgate Summit Returns to London – join us in March!
We’re thrilled to announce the return of Redgate Summit London, set to take place at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur stadium on March 11, 2025. This event is part of the Redgate Summit series, aiming to bring together database professionals who want to level up their skills to navigate the increasingly complex database landscape.
With an incredible lineup of speakers including Redgate and community experts, a full day of educational content, and networking opportunities in a breathtaking setting, this year’s Summit promises to be the best yet.
Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect…
Three dynamic tracks
For 2025 we’ll be running three tracks of content: Leadership, New & Future Tech, and the Redgate Clinic, all of which will help level up your skills to streamline software development and get value from your data faster.
The Leadership track features a panel session with Matt Gordon (Lead Data Architect at BJSS), Redgate Advocate and MVP Steve Jones, and Graham McMillan (Redgate’s CTO), exploring the elevated role of the database. Thomas Kronawitter (Head of Data-Driven Applications & Services at Grenke Service AG) will discuss addressing the data and analytics skills deficit in an intimate fireside chat. And Redgate Advocate and Engineer Kellyn Gorman will be joined by William Durkin (Co-Founder of Data Masterminds) and Matt Gordon to discuss the real ROI of your cloud strategy.
New & Future Tech features a panel discussion on the data professional’s role in shaping tomorrow, hosted by Redgate Advocate Grant Fritchey, Jess Pomfret (Data Masterminds), and Andrew Pruski (Pure Storage). In this session gain insights into how data professionals can harness emerging technologies to enhance their role and future career. Thomas Kronawitter will be presenting a case study on how Grenke achieved database monitoring in 75% less time. Join this track to learn how to address new and emerging technologies such as cloud migration and AI, along with how to navigate the balance between SQL Server and other database platforms.
The Redgate Clinic, new for 2025, offers both an introduction and a deep dive into Redgate’s solutions. This is your opportunity to ask questions and learn more about bringing agility to the database, enhancing database protection with monitoring and masking, and putting end-to-end Database DevOps in action to de-risk your database.
Introduction to PostgreSQL and Oracle breakfast sessions
We know that many data professionals are now working across multiple platforms, increasing the urgency of learning about new technologies. If you’re looking to learn how to move to either PostgreSQL or Oracle, you can book an optional breakfast session run by Redgate advocates Grant Fritchey, Kellyn Gorman and Ryan Booz.
For full information on these optional sessions, see the event page.
Join us on an exclusive stadium tour
Redgate Summit will be hosted at Tottenham Hotspur stadium. This venue offers breathtaking pitch-side views throughout the event space, the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day packed with learning, connecting, and inspiration.
Fancy the chance of joining us for an exclusive stadium tour on the day? There will be multiple opportunities to win a place on a private tour of Tottenham Hotspur’s ground, with behind-the scenes access to the players’ dressing rooms, and pitch-side.
Inspiring keynotes
We’re excited to welcome Helena Yin Koeppl (Director of Enterprise Strategy at Amazon Web Services) as our closing keynote speaker. Helena joined the AWS team in January 2024. With over 26 years of experience, she’s successfully implemented large-scale data, analytics and AI transformations for four leading companies in the FMCG, healthcare, and information services sectors.
To kick off the day, hear from Redgate leaders on the latest trends and insights from our annual State of the Database Landscape report. This keynote will surface the most common challenges we see in our research, as well as equipping you with actionable ideas for implementing best practice, helping you to proactively and effectively tackle your specific database management challenges.
Who usually attends Redgate Summits?
In 2024, most attendees were Architects, IT Managers, Senior DBAs, Senior Developers, Team Leads and Team Managers. Many companies found it useful to send 2-3 people from their team, from exec level roles to end users, to ensure their organization made the most of all the content tracks.
