Gilda Alvarez is Senior Manager of Data Domain at SkyTouch Technology. She founded 'Latinas in Data', a technical mentoring program that is trying to bridge the gap of IT database technical skills in the Latino community.

She is a frequent speaker and panelist, including at the Grace Hopper Conference 2019, Data Platform WIT Day 2021, and keynote speaker for multiple events in Latin America talking about the importance of Allyship.
