Cambridge, UK – Tuesday 11 June 2025 – Redgate, the end-to-end Database DevOps provider, has announced the return of its expanded scholarship initiative for PASS Data Community Summit 2025, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and professional growth across the global data community. 

Now in its second year, the program expands its reach to support emerging and aspiring tech professionals, including career changers, early-career technologists, and individuals from organizations with limited learning and development resources. With 13 complimentary 3-Day Tickets available, plus an allowance of $1,400 to allocate towards travel, accommodation and expenses, valued collectively at over $45,000, the scholarship enables recipients to attend PASS Summit 2025, taking place November 17–21 in Seattle.

Following the overwhelming response to last year’s scholarship program, which saw over 60 applications and 10 recipients from diverse backgrounds, Redgate is deepening its investment in the next generation of data professionals. This year’s expanded eligibility criteria reflect a growing recognition of the many pathways into tech. 

Applicants must be aged 21 or older and pursuing, or have completed, education in computer science, engineering, or a related field. This includes university degrees, certification programs, or equivalent experience. Redgate welcomes applications from career changers, students, professionals in nonprofit or underfunded sectors, and anyone demonstrating a strong commitment to growth in data or technology. 

Applications will be reviewed by Special Projects Volunteers from the Summit’s Program Committee. Final decisions will be shared within three weeks of the application deadline. 

PASS Data Community Summit has been highly rated by the data community for decades, with 2025 marking the 27th anniversary of the event. Well known for equipping attendees with a huge amount of practical knowledge, last year’s event featured 301 hours of content and experiences delivered by 198 speakers.
