Redgate opens new office in Amsterdam: a strategic move to boost EMEA growth

We’re pleased to announce the planned opening of our new office located in central Amsterdam, marking the first phase of our ambitious plan to expand and grow in the Northern Europe market.

This strategic move is part of our broader vision to strengthen our connections with current customers and attract new ones as we expand into EMEA markets, aiming for steady growth in the coming years.

The Amsterdam office, opening in Q1, will play a crucial part in expanding our enterprise account base and acquiring new customers across the wider EMEA region, particularly in high-potential regions like France and the Middle East, building on last year’s successful sales and marketing efforts.

George Tolliday will serve as director of Northern Europe sales and will be responsible for building a dynamic team in Amsterdam, focusing on recruiting roles in sales, solution engineering, business development, and marketing. We’ll also continue to engage with our regional partners through face-to-face events, including as part of our PASS international tour in 2025. PASS Summit is the leading event for database professionals and will visit The Netherlands later in the year.

The opening of our Amsterdam office to boost EMEA growth works in tandem with Redgate’s continued focus on the North American market, ensuring a balanced and strategic approach to expanding our global presence.

“Our new office in Amsterdam is a strategic move that underscores our commitment to expanding our presence in the Northern Europe market. The needs of our growing customer base in the Netherlands and beyond mean we want to serve our local customers better with dedicated sales engineering support. Customers in industries such as finance and healthcare tell us that their requirements for enhanced database security and improved productivity demand a market-leading set of tools, and we are on hand to deliver for these needs,” said Sam Spark, VP of International Sales at Redgate.

“Our recent The State of Database Landscape report highlights that 38% of organizations are concerned about data security and access controls when managing different technologies. In addition to navigating the regulatory maze of compliance, this just demonstrates the crucial need for robust database management strategies to ensure data consistency, security and compliance.

This expansion is a testament to our ongoing dedication to scaling our business and delivering exceptional value to our customers across the EMEA region.”
