Marketing Analytics Manager

Redgate creates ingeniously simple software to help data professionals get the most value out of any database, anywhere.

Our portfolio of solutions helps organizations reliably solve the complex challenges of database management across the DevOps lifecycle on any database, any platform, anywhere. We make life easier for IT leaders, development and operations teams, increasing efficiency, reducing errors and protecting business-critical data.

The data community knows it can trust Redgate to balance speed to market, collaboration across teams and the protection of business-critical data.

For 25 years, our teams have been helping over 200,000 customers in every kind of industry across the world, from small and medium-sized businesses to 92% of companies in the Fortune 100 – including Samsung, BMW, Microsoft, Apple, VISA, IBM, and Toyota.

We’re looking for a data-driven and commercially aware Marketing Analytics Manager to help shape how we measure and improve the impact of marketing at Redgate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to partner closely with senior leaders across marketing, sales, and finance and who can deliver both strategic insights and operational reporting.

You’ll be responsible for surfacing actionable insights, building scalable dashboards, and developing performance forecasts that help the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team make better, faster decisions. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations, and partner with growth marketing strategists, product marketers, and regional marketers across our global go-to-market teams.

In this role, you’ll help move Redgate toward a more forward-looking, insight-led model, using data to uncover risks and opportunities, model future performance, and recommend timely course corrections that keep marketing on track.

What makes you Redgate’s next Marketing Analytics Manager?

  • You bring proven experience in marketing analytics or marketing operations, ideally in a B2B SaaS or tech environment, with a strong grasp of pipeline, campaign, and lead performance metrics.
  • You’re a confident analyst, with the ability to dig into complex data and turn it into clear and compelling stories for stakeholders at all levels.
  • You’re familiar with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar, and have hands-on experience with platforms like Salesforce and Marketo.
  • You’re commercially minded, able to support forecasting, performance modelling, and scenario planning that connects marketing activity to revenue outcomes.
  • You have excellent collaboration skills, and experience working cross-functionally with teams like Revenue Operations, Finance, and Sales.
  • You’re passionate about building scalable tools and processes and know how to reduce time spent on ad hoc reporting by creating repeatable dashboards and intuitive self-serve resources.
  • You’re forward-looking not just reporting on what’s happened, but helping to predict what’s coming, enabling early intervention and smarter decision-making.

What’s the package?

  • Salary £55K- £70K depending on experience
  • 40 hours per week, with flexible work time
  • Hybrid working with time in our Cambridge office

Achieving work-life balance has never been more important and so Redgate has adopted a flexible-hybrid model. This means that people will work flexibly with a blend of remote (home) and co-located (office) work, with teams having the flexibility to decide the cadence that best suits the outcomes they need to deliver.

Where you work and how frequently you attend the office will depend on the nature of your role, make-up of the team and the type of work that you need to do. A weekly visit to the office is likely for most people to support our collaborative culture, as well as other ad-hoc collaborative activities as required by the business. So, if you are able to travel to & from the office safely in a day, that works well for us.

Our hiring process

Application

Tell us about yourself, your skills and experience, and talk about why you’d like to work at Redgate.

Include a CV, or a link to your LinkedIn page, and if you'd like to show some of your work, attach your portfolio or point us to Stack Overflow or GitHub.

Assessments

We’ll acknowledge your application straight away, review it and keep you updated on your progress. We might also email an assessment to complete, or invite you for a brief telephone interview. If we don’t think you’re suitable we’ll tell you why. We won’t let you down, we’ll try and help you.

Our assessments focus on how well you’re able to do the job – we won’t ask you to solve arbitrary logic puzzles.

Interviews

You’ll be talking to different people, you may well meet people you’ll be working with, and we’ll allow time for you to ask questions. We don’t have a dress code at Redgate, by the way, so dress in whatever makes you comfortable.

We want you to be relaxed and at your best in our interviews. If there's anything you'd especially like us to ask you about, or any parts of the interview you dread, let us know.

Offer

If we think you’d be great at Redgate, we’ll make an offer and iron out any details like relocation issues.

If we don’t think you’ll fit in right away, we’ll tell you why. Some people have taken our advice and come back a year later and got a job.
