How to examine differences with SQL Compare Summary View and SQL View

Jamie Wallis introduces the new Summary View, which is a tab that sits alongside SQL View and provides a more concise breakdown of the differences between two objects.

During the recent Redgate Hub Launch Livestream Steve Jones introduced the new Summary View, which is available now in SQL Compare.

The brand new Summary View is a tab that sits alongside SQL View and provides a more concise breakdown of the differences between two objects. We have achieved this by getting rid of the SQL and showing only the semantic differences between objects in a much more structured way.
