Sales Operations Project Manager

Redgate is looking for a Sales Operations Project Manager to manage both technical and non-technical projects within our Sales Operations Function.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, you will…

Own, manage and deliver projects for Redgate relating to our sales function. The role is not solely a technical project management role, it will also encompass projects relating to sales processes, annual and quarterly planning and sales policy. You will take full end to end project management responsibility through to project completion and you will have demonstrable experience of managing multiple concurrent projects. Experience within Sales Operations or Sales planning would be an advantage, as would experience of project management around the Salesforce.com platform.

The Sales Operations function is relatively new to Redgate, so it is an exciting time to be joining the team, as we are considered key to enabling the growth of our expanding sales function. We have a lot of exciting plans for the future and we need someone with excellent project management skills and experience to help us to best deliver these plans.

 What makes you Redgate’s next Sales Operations Project Manager?

• You are a knowledgeable Project Manager with practical experience in Sales Operations planning activities – e.g. Sales Compensation, Sales Territory and Sales Targets.
• Considerable hands on experience of project management on the Salesforce.com platform.
• You can demonstrate strong project management skills in project definition, planning, initiation, scope control, reporting, risk and issue management, scheduling, and delivery
• Experience of building and fostering collaboration between stakeholders, project teams and wider customers on work you have led.
• Strong organisational skills and a successful track record of coordinating between multiple project stakeholders, business process owners, business analysts, project managers, and technical teams.
• Solid practical experience of project management working with cross-functional project teams
• Can demonstrate personal credibility when working with all levels across the business
• You have demonstrable experience of working towards very tight deadlines.
• You are self-organised, pro-active and able to rally and organise a project team as needed
• You are reliable and trustworthy, follow through on commitments, straight-talking without politics
• You are flexible, approachable and supportive whilst able to make solid, evidence-based decisions when needed
• A self-motivated and enthusiastic person who likes to get stuff done, with a common-sense approach
• The ability to manage analytical and creative challenges

What would help?

• Experience of working in Sales Operations or Sales Planning.
• You have experience of modelling, budgeting and costing
• You have experience of traditional project methodologies, such as Waterfall and where they are best applied
• Experience of Salesforce, Zuora or Marketo

What’s the package?

• A great benefits package.
• Salary is £50k – £60k, depending on experience.
• You’ll work about 40 hours a week, with flexible work time.
