Product Owner

Redgate is looking for an experienced Product Owner to work in one of its new Capability teams within its IT organisation. You will play a key leadership role in one of our agile project teams helping to shape and deliver strategic outcomes, implement key tactical improvements, support the business teams and address technical debt in our solutions.

Reporting to the Programme Delivery Manager, you’ll work with key stakeholders to shape and manage the backlog addressing key business challenges. You will act as one of the main liaisons between the capability teams and stakeholders.

Now is an exciting time to be joining one of our Capability teams as a Product Owner. Over the next year, the IT organisation will be supporting several of the company’s most important strategic programmes and delivering crucial insight and capabilities to the rest of Redgate. Upon joining the team, you will have a key role to play in delivering for the business and pushing the evolution of Product Ownership at Redgate

What makes you RedGate’s next Product Owner?

  • As a domain expert in their field can maximise the value we get from the systems and processes supporting business capabilities
  • You will have worked on projects implementing Business Systems solutions such as CRM, HR or phone systems, or more technical development of in-house Software. You must also have a good understanding of how to integrate SaaS and in-house solutions.
  • You have a great understanding of business processes such as lead generation through to opportunity and revenue creation.
  • You can drive a working environment that encourages constructive challenge, healthy conflict and debate and drives continuous improvement, innovation and growth
  • Supports the team in breaking down outcomes into smaller pieces delivering value iteratively
  • You have experience of working with highly technical people
  • You have strong stakeholder engagement skills and can build great stakeholder, customer and cross functional relationships across Redgate 
  • You’ll work closely with business process owners in setting the long-term vision for Redgate’s key business systems and resolving long-standing business challenges 
  • You’ll be motivated to get the most of Redgate’s systems in support of Redgate’s growth and strategy
  • You’ll have a desire to take the initiative, be innovative, question the status quo and adapt to changing circumstances  
  • Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
  • You will have experience weaving information from informal conversation and business requirements into setting the direction for key systems
