Credit Controller (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

The Finance Team is here to bring value to Redgate by providing insightful financial advice and analysis, with integrity and objectivity, to support Redgate’s key decision making processes and organisational goals. In addition, we maintain our own high standards by running lean, compliant and operationally excellent practices.

We are looking for a Credit Controller to support the Invoicing and Payments Team, part of Redgate’s Finance Team to provide outstanding customer purchasing and payment services on a fixed term 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Invoicing and Payments Manager, you will manage your own Credit Control region where you will be responsible for contacting customers regarding overdue payments, agreeing payment terms, updating records, providing expert advice on payment methods and systems, liaising with our Sales team and measuring your own performance.

You’ll also be responsible for order and payment processing, updating the Sales Ledger, email allocation, answering customer queries by phone or email and providing support to your colleagues in Finance and the UK and US Sales teams. So a penchant for administration tasks is a must.

Our customers are important to us and you’ll need to care about helping customers as much as we do.  You’ll need to be able to demonstrate strong customer and administration experience and to have the ability to adopt the Redgate Credit Controller best practices.  Great attention to detail and strong communication is essential for this role, as you will be dealing with customers daily and communicating across boundaries, divisions and countries.

The Invoicing and Payments Team thrives on providing our customers with ingeniously simple solutions when it comes to purchasing or submitting payments for our products.  Within this role, you’ll work closely with your colleagues to deliver simple purchasing processes, tailored payment solutions and expert advice to our customers, whilst ensuring our systems and team are well supported.

As part of a successful, global, software company, and undertaking a number of important  duties, the role will be challenging and diverse – to keep you at the top of your game we’ll invest in you and your career, providing all the training and support needed for you to do great work.

If you like the sound of this then we’d love to hear from you. To apply, simply upload your CV and covering letter or get in touch if you’d like to talk to us first.

Our hiring process

Application

Tell us about yourself, your skills and experience, and talk about why you’d like to work at Redgate.

Include a CV, or a link to your LinkedIn page, and if you'd like to show some of your work, attach your portfolio or point us to Stack Overflow or GitHub.

Assessments

We’ll acknowledge your application straight away, review it and keep you updated on your progress. We might also email an assessment to complete, or invite you for a brief telephone interview. If we don’t think you’re suitable we’ll tell you why. We won’t let you down, we’ll try and help you.

Our assessments focus on how well you’re able to do the job – we won’t ask you to solve arbitrary logic puzzles.

Offer

If we think you’d be great at Redgate, we’ll make an offer and iron out any details like relocation issues.

If we don’t think you’ll fit in right away, we’ll tell you why. Some people have taken our advice and come back a year later and got a job.
