Classify and map tool

Redgate Test Data Manager EnterpriseTest Data Manager Standard

In this video we cover what the classify and map commands do, how to run them using the CLI, and how to intepret the files generated by these commands.

The classify and map commands are two prerequisites to running the mask command. The classify command uses logic to read column names and column meta-data from your database to automatically classify the type of data within the column.

The map command parses the classification file produced by the classify command and picks an appropriate dataset to mask the classified column with.
