Redgate Think n' Drink Series: Ensuring compliance in dev and test

  • New York, NY May 23, 2019, 4:30-6:30 PM

Our Think n’ Drink series covers a variety of topics surrounding one very important issue – how to keep your sensitive data protected, and stay compliant, without slowing development down.

Delivering fresh, database copies to development while complying with regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, CCPA, and the GDPR is challenging.

Many approaches are inefficient, taking hours, sometimes days, involving multiple restore from backups, and attempts at generating realistic data for testing. They don’t scale, and rarely meet the needs of DevOps teams working in ever faster release cycles.

Database teams have become accustomed to suboptimal processes, often treading a fine line when it comes to protecting confidential information. But new tools and approaches are transforming the way development environments are refreshed, delivering production-like data in an instant while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Join us and your local peers to learn how to implement more efficient ways of managing test data that ensure your business remains protected and helps you to deliver value quicker to your customers.

You'll learn:

  • The main drivers for automating the delivery of database changes
  • The impact Database DevOps has on regulatory and compliance requirements
  • How organizations are adopting Database DevOps alongside broader DevOps initiatives – and the advantages it brings
  • How real-world champions are helping their organizations and the community realize the benefits of Database DevOps
