SQL History is a feature that was released in SQL Prompt v10.13. It replaces the previous Tab History feature, and  helps you to keep track of the queries that you use in SSMS, plus the history of those queries.

As you type SQL in a query window, SQL History will record what you are doing, allowing you to browse and search through the history of your work. It not only keeps a record of your entire SQL query history – including edits you’ve made, but not run - but also features a new advanced search functionality.
