having a few valut pro v6 - source control 3 integration issues (which seem to have been resolved) I discovered the VaultClean folder in my c:\Users\HansiHinterseer\AppData\Local\Red Gate\SQL Source Control 3\ directory.
The VaultClean folder contains 217530 files in 17579 folders and takes up 936 MB hard space.
What is the purpose of this folder? And do I need the contents? |

That folder is used to store a snapshot of the SQL Source Control working base - it's basically a failsafe, so it can revert to that revision if something goes wrong. It looks like we aren't cleaning up this folder as much as we should - if you want, it's entirely safe to delete the contents once you've closed SSMS. _________________ Andy Campbell Smith
