Hi,
We had a backup fail with the message Thread 0 error:
Process terminated unexpectedly. Error code: -2139684861 (The api was waiting and the timeout interval had elapsed.)
Never seen this message before. I know that your process is an extended stored procedure so this is possible. Hopefully I wont see this message again.

Could you please post the contents of the SQL Backup log file for the backup that failed? The default folder where the logs are stored is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Log\<instance name> on Windows 2003 and older, and C:\ProgramData\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Log\<instance name> on Windows Vista and newer.

Just checking. I sent the info to Support under F0066394 just now after replying earlier under Waiting on API message when running a 7.1.0.214 Backup.
