I am running SQL Data Compare 9 against a folder of scripts and am having an issue. One of my tables has a row that is always showing up as a difference between my two sources, no matter how many times I sync it. It's always the same row, and I can sync it fine with another database, just not a scripts folder.
Can someone assist with troubleshooting? This is part of a problem we're having with SQL Source Control and syncing a static data table to our source control system, however the error seems to be coming from the data compare tool itself, not the sql source control framework. |

In cases like this, there are a few options that sometimes resolve strange issues where seemingly identical rows are reported as different. Can you try enabling "Trim trailing spaces" and/or "Force binary collation" in the comparison options, and let me know if either of those resolves the issue? _________________ Andy Campbell Smith

| Thanks, forcing binary collation did the trick. |
