Is there any way to include a subset of data in a table when linking static data via SSC?

I have a configuration table which includes some required and some optional data. It would be great if I could either manually select the rows to include via a UI, or if that's not easy, at least be able to setup a WHERE clause to filter by a column I could include.

Unfortunately that capability is not currently available in SQL Source Control.
There is an existing feature request in our uservoice forums you may want to vote for.

These forums are actively monitored by our development team and allow our users to reuest features and vote on them.
If a feature receives a significant amount of votes or is deemed to have merit development may include the feature in a future release.
