It would be nice to have a simple object search... For instance if I select Triggers thre should be a way to just get all the triggers in the DB.
Then the "Select in Object Explorer" can take me right there. Just be a faster way to navigate the object tree, I think. |

| That's an interesting idea. You're saying that the search should start by showing all objects and typing into the search field just narrows it down from everything? |

Sort of, yes... Maybe just when a subset of object types is selected. I just ran into a scenario where I had to touch a series of triggers. It would have been nice to be able to just a quick list of them and then navigate directly to them in the object tree. Otherwise it's a bunch of expand, expand, expand, edit, collapse, collapse, collapse...
Just a thought... Would be quicker for some stuff than scripting the change. |
