Same problem. In my case, there are 10 objects, 4 of them are external tables.
I sent to oracle@red-gate.com a file (redgate.zip) containing:

- The create table statements (generetade via Data Pump) of these 10 objects to you try to recreate the issue.
- The "Before" and "After" statements showed by the tool

Resolved -- databases for existing projects must be up and available or else you will possibly receive this error (when working with 1.0.0.618)

Also, confirmed as still being an issue with 1.0.0.648.

I believe that after the third failed attempt to submit an error report you should be prompted with the option to save and email us the report. Please try that.

Uninstalling and then re-installing version 1.0.0.618 results in the same error.

Wondering if it's an issue with the .NET 4 framework? Windows 7 downloaded a bunch of updates to .NET 4 over the past few days.

I'm currently running:

.NET Framework 4 Client Profile 4.0.30319
.NET Framework 4 Extended 4.0.30319

v1.0 release upgrade won't launch

After using the in-tool link to download and install the upgrade to the 1.0 version, I'm getting the following error:

The invocation of the constructor on type 'SourceControlForOracle.MainWindowViewModel' that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception.

Attempting to automatically file the bug results in an HTTP 403 Forbidden error.

Get this release from in the tool (Help -> Check for Updates) or from our website by joining the beta program:

Known issues:

Regarding the other points, thank you for the feedback. Editing projects is possible, but currently hidden away in an XML file here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Red Gate\Source Control for Oracle 1\ConnectionStore.xml

Source control shows differences even after check in

After having checked in all objects of a schema to the svn, source control still shows differences between the db and svn. Even if I check in the "changes" again - the "differences" are still there.

Affected object types:

2 tables and an index

The scripts shown when pointing to the objet are equal.

Example:

CREATE UNIQUE INDEX tvdlib.sys_c0017837 ON tvdlib.tvd_source_exports(object_types)
VISIBLE PARALLEL (DEGREE 1 INSTANCES 1);

The thing that all of the objects have in common is the "visible" keyword.
