RE: Problem with Restore

Hi;

We're certainly aware of this bug - it hasn't been fixed in the public EAP versions yet, but the intention is that it will be.

For now, there is a KB article that might help: Changing the default data location used by SQL Backup.

Thanks.

Problem with Restore

Hi There

When the Demo was shown to us, selecting SQL Server Data Directory would read the settings held in SQL Server.

e.g. Data Directory E:\SQLOLTPDATA

Trying out the EAP the functionality is the same as V6 in that it always shows it as C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\........

Feature request

Something that I have had cause to look at a number of times in the last week was the disk throughput that the backup generated. Currently have to select the job, show log and then trawl through it to find the database I am interested in.

ie
BACKUP DATABASE successfully processed 6797231 pages in 443.174 seconds (119.825 MB/sec).

Wondering if it was possible to have the MB/sec exposed on the activity monitor pane somehow or have it as a column that could be added.

Many Thanks
