hmm, i see its already relative path... hmm why it did not work on my build-server must be another purpose...
sorry about that wrong suggestion, you can forget that feature request cause already implemented

Hi SmartAssembly Team

i have a build-server where project-paths are diffrent to my developer machine. Visual Studio projectfiles store all fileinformations relative to the projectfile. But SmartAssembly XML project file stores fileinformations as absolute paths.

would it not be better to store fileinformations (input assembly, output path) relative to the Smart Assembly project file path?

If you drop an email to dotnetsales@red-gate.com they should be able to advise you about how best to upgrade when we release version 6. For the time being, until we release that, if you want the new features, you'll have to continue using the EAP versions, with the limitations and restrictions that come with them.

I have just buy a license of SA 5, but it does not work with SA6, is there any way to upgrate it?

I prefer to keep using SA6 because the localization issues with SL on SA5..

It'll be a few months yet, because we'd like to fix a lot of bugs that affect a few people before releasing.

Out of interest, what is it about SA 6 that you prefer over 5? Did we fix a bug that was affecting you, or do you like one of the new features?
