Have you ever wanted to learn more about DAX and Power BI? These are two technologies that are growing in popularity on a weekly basis. Many organizations are investing in self-service BI and Power BI is one of the most common tools used in organizations using Microsoft SQL Server.

Steve Jones, founder of SQLServerCentral and Microsoft Data Platform MVP, wants to learn more about DAX as well. He hasn't ever written any applications in the language, but would like to build some skills and learn how this popular language works.

The course was originally held as a series of weekly livestream sessions in 2020, now available here as on-demand videos.  Join Steve as he walks through the Stairway to DAX and Power BI, learning how the DAX language works and adapting the articles written for PowerPivot to the Power BI Desktop application. We'll spend 30-45 minutes going through an article or two in each video, working through examples and making up new examples on the spot.
