Azure

I’ve been tasked to learn SQL Azure, as well as test all the Red Gate products on it. My one, BIG, fear has been that I’ll receive some mongo bill in the mail because I’ve exceeded the MSDN testing limit. I know people that have had that problem. I’ve been trying to keep an eye on my usage, but, let’s face it, it’s not something I think about every day. But now I don’t have to.

Red Gate has been working with Azure, long before I showed up. They already released a little piece of software that I just found out about, it’s called CloudTally. It gathers your usage and sends you a daily email so you can know if you’re starting to approach that limit. Check it out, it’s free.
