SQL Compare & SQL Data Compare 12 beta

We'd like you to try the new beta builds for SQL Compare 12 and SQL Data Compare 12, which include support for SQL Server 2016 and an all-new user interface.

Azure SQL DB and most SQL Server 2016 features are now supported, including:

  • JSON syntax
  • Columnstore indexes on memory optimized tables
  • Dynamic Data Masking
  • Row Level Security
  • Stretch Tables

During this short beta period and beyond, we'll be enhancing SQL Server 2016 support, so please tell us what you'd like to see next.

The new UI delivers a consistent, modern look and feel, as well as fixing over 200 longstanding bugs. We'd love to know what you think of it.

Give the tools a try, and send us your feedback so we can continue improving the tools.

We'll also be in touch with surveys, updates, and for further feedback.

As part of the beta, we'll collect anonymous information about how you use features in our products. We'll use this to improve performance, decide which features to add, and which bug fixes to prioritize.
