Scott Swanberg
Scott Swanberg is a Sr. SQL Server Database Architect Consultant for Ambient Consulting, a Microsoft Gold Partner, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Scott has a MBA and a BS in Computer Science, both from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. He has 30 years of IT experience. He started his SQL Server DBA experience with the initial release of SQL Server 6.5. He also has database experience with Oracle, Sybase, MySQL and DB2. He is an active member of PASS MN and Minnesota SQL Saturdays. Scott has worked for or consulted for many fortune 500 companies such as: 3M, Boston Scientific, Delta Airlines, Lawson Software, Northwest Airlines, and US Bank. His wife Joann also works in IT, at the State of Minnesota, Department of MN.IT Services. They have four children Brittany, Jill, Austin, and Paige.
