Now in its fifth year, Redgate’s State of Database DevOps report continues on its journey to reveal the challenges and advantages of adopting DevOps and Database DevOps.

The survey behind the 2021 report was conducted in December 2020 and included responses from over 3,000 IT professionals from every industry sector in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific. Alongside the insights into how and why IT decision makers are adopting DevOps, the 2021 edition of the report looks at how the pandemic has affected the adoption of DevOps, as well as its impact on working practices.

The large number of survey respondents also provides the opportunity to dive deeper into the data to discover the differences as well as the similarities that exist across and between industry sectors. This whitepaper takes a closer look at how the Healthcare sector has fared over the last year. It highlights where different aspects of DevOps adoption are ahead or behind, and shows where organizations and businesses in the sector should be focusing their own digital transformation efforts.
