Teams

Every User Experience Designer at Redgate is fundamental to both the UX team and their product team

Our growing UX team and design community encourages sharing, learning and development.

We’re passionate about Post-its, fanatical about user flows, barmy about buttons, mad about modals, excited about research … you get the picture. Redgate’s long-standing design team has a wide range of skills and backgrounds, so we can play to each other’s strengths and learn from each other.

So whether we’re seasoned at UI design but need to brush up on our copywriting skills, experienced in user research yet keen to learn more about code, or an expert in user journeys and striving to excel at user flows, there’s always someone around to help develop our skills.

Product teams are small and agile, and always put users at the forefront.

Research, user interviews, and customer feedback are at the heart of product development at Redgate. We aim to solve often very complicated problems with software that puts the user first. How can we make what they want to do ingeniously simple?

UX design is a crucial element in answering that question and we work side by side with software developers in small, dedicated teams. If you’re the UXer, you have an important role to play.

The Design Academy brings together anyone at Redgate who values and has an interest in design.

The Design Academy provides opportunities to get together to be creative and inspired, share knowledge, and sharpen skills. It supports a range of activities including:

  • Design courses
  • Workshops & design jams
  • Meetups
  • Book club
  • Video lunches
