Step 14: Reporting

Reporting

For reporting purposes – archiving, version control and change management planning – you can save the visible diagram to the clipboard by clicking the Copy button in the main toolbar. You can also export the diagram, either as a PNG image, or as an XML file. To highlight key objects in your report, right-click the object and change the color in the Properties option.

Now that you have identified and resolved any dependency issues, you can use Red Gate SQL Compare® and SQL Data Compare™ to compare and synchronize your databases, with complete confidence that no hidden dependency surprises will crop up and cause problems.
