Step 4: Viewing the differences between the backup and the live database

Comparison pane

After pressing 'Compare Now' the comparison window is displayed. Clicking on the Contacts table in the comparison screen reveals the classic view of the differences pane below it. When there are a large number of columns this is not necessarily the most convenient view. To locate particular data faster there are some useful navigation options. First you can use 'Pivot View' (to the left of the navigation arrows) to rotate the data.
