For example, if you have five physical servers you want to perform backups on, each running a Windows operating system with SQL Server, you will need a five-server license of SQL Backup Pro.

Clustered environment

If your servers are clustered, whether it's active/passive or active/active, you will need a license for each node that is running SQL Server.

Virtual environment

If you host your servers in a virtual environment, you will need a single server license for each virtual server that runs SQL Server. For example, if you have five physical servers hosting 10 virtual servers, you will need a 10-server license of SQL Backup Pro.

SQL Backup Pro is priced from $795 per server. Discounts are available for multiple license purchases.

The SQL DBA Bundle also starts from $1895, offering a range of database administration tools, including SQL Backup Pro, at a lower cost than purchasing each tool in the bundle individually.

If you would like telephone support, email support, and free upgrades, you can purchase a year's maintenance package for 25% of the cost of the license(s). Two- and three-year maintenance packages are also available, whether you purchase your license(s) through the sales support team or online.
