When did you join Red Gate?
I joined as an employee in July 2008 but I'd worked with Red Gate for many years previously.
What was your first ever job?
An infant teacher.
Before you arrived at Red Gate what did you do?
The last thing I did before joining Red Gate was to create websites and information systems for Sir Alan Sugar.
What does your job involve on a day-to-day basis?
Commissioning articles, editing, working with authors and readers. Liaising with others in Red Gate to ensure that what we publish reflects what interests us, what we like, and what we are.
What do you like about working in publishing at Red Gate?
I get to take decisions, and get paid for doing the things I enjoy.

What's your favourite book?
The Father Brown stories by GK Chesterton.
What super power do you wish you had (or have but aren't telling anyone because that's the point of being super)?

Why did you choose Red Gate?
I kinda drifted into it.
What are your favourite Red Gate perks?
Getting a decent laptop.
What's your most memorable Red Gate experience so far?
Getting to PASS and meeting people I'd exchanged emails with for years.
What's your stance on Marmite?
It is the eating equivalent to jogging. It is horrible, but it makes you feel better afterwards.
