Over the last several years, HyperBac Technologies has developed innovative software solutions for IT professionals, primarily for SQL Server. With the help of HyperBac technologies, Red Gate aims to develop a greater range of database and system administration tools and deliver them to a wider base of users.

What does this acquisition mean for current HyperBac customers?

In the short term, there will be minimal changes. HyperBac customers with product support agreements will receive ongoing support from HyperBac while support operations are integrated with Red Gate over time. Red Gate will continue to uphold HyperBac product support agreements.

Over time, more of the day-to-day HyperBac product support and sales operations will be integrated into Red Gate's operations. Information about HyperBac products will start to appear on the Red Gate website. Customers will be advised of any future changes or developments that affect them.
