Red Gate introduces object level recovery for those using native SQL Server backups

CAMBRIDGE, U.K., September 17, 2009 – Red Gate Software has released a new tool called SQL Object Level Recovery Native that enables individual database objects to be recovered from native SQL Server 2008, 2005 and 2000 backup files.

SQL Object Level Recovery Native is faster and uses less disk space than restoring full database backups with SQL Server.  The new tool is licensed on a per-user rather than a per-server basis, providing flexibility to restore database objects from native SQL Server backup files to any database, on any server, across the enterprise.
