Redgate Platform - Privacy Notice

Redgate (which means Red Gate Software Limited and its subsidiaries) respects your privacy. All information you give us is held with the utmost care and security.

Please take time to review this privacy policy as it sets out our privacy practices and tells you how your personal information will be treated by us. We do not sell, rent or loan any identifiable information regarding our customers to any third party. Only in the circumstances described within this Privacy Policy would we share your information with any third party.

How we use your information

You should read this document alongside our main privacy notice, available at https://www.red-gate.com/privacy. That notice describes how Redgate process your data as a customer or potential customer of Redgate.

This notice describes the data we process when you use the Redgate Platform, hosted by us, to provide additional capabilities to your Redgate products.

We use this data to provide the service to you, and ensure that the service is functioning correctly. Data stored in the Redgate Platform is retained for the duration of your use of the service.

Data we process

Authentication data

When you authenticate with the Redgate Platform, we use your email address, username, or a token from your organization's identity provider, to identify you and control access to the service.

Data about your estate

Some features of our products store data about your estate in the Redgate Platform. This may include:

• Server names
• Database names and schemas
• Data classifications
• Shared code snippets

We do this to allow you to share data about your estate between different users within your organization, and between different Redgate products.

Data about your usage of Redgate's products

We store data about how each of Redgate's products is used, to allow administrators of your organization to see how they are being used.

Companies we work with

We use some external companies to help provide the Redgate Platform service to you:

• Microsoft (Azure public cloud) - infrastructure hosting, monitoring and deployment

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights as an individual which you can exercise in relation to the information we hold about you:

• Confirmation of personal data that is being processed
• Access to your personal data

If you object to the way we are processing your data, or would like us to erase your personal data, contact privacy@red-gate.com. In some situations, we may need to keep some of your data (for example, records of your purchases) to comply with our legal obligations.

Complaints and queries

Redgate tries to meet the highest standards when collecting and using personal information. We take complaints very seriously. If you feel our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate, we encourage you to bring this to our attention. We also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures.
