Sales Enablement Manager (Pasadena or Austin based)

The role:

As Redgate’s Sales Enablement Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the ongoing strategic development of our sales organization.

You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a sales enablement program that ensures our global sales team is best-in-class in terms of their sales skills, technical acumen, industry knowledge and competitive positioning. You’ll conduct ongoing needs assessments and will deliver targeted development plans and internal accreditation programs to drive continuous improvement.

We need someone who’ll immerse themselves into the Redgate sales organization; you’ll understand the company sales strategy and be passionate about achieving it.

As a strategic partner to the Sales Management Team, you’ll become a trusted coach for reps and managers alike, continuously identifying areas of opportunity and improvement.

Collaborating with teams across the business, you’ll ensure our sales reps have the product information and collateral they need to provide our customers with a world-class sales experience.

The role can be based in either one of our US offices, Pasadena, CA or Austin, TX. However, you’ll be expected to travel at least once a quarter between these offices and also visit our Cambridge office in the UK, as you develop our global team.

  • You’ve got a proven track record in direct sales and sales enablement, preferably in the software sales industry
  • You’re a strategic thinker and a pro-active collaborator
  • You’re passionate about developing people and processes
  • You’re a superb verbal communicator with the confidence to teach sales methodology to groups of twenty or more
  • You’re a fantastic writer who has the ability to condense product features in to straight-forward, actionable sales collateral
  • Salesforce and Excel experience highly preferred

Step 1. Application

Step three is an interview in our Cambridge office. We’ll talk about your work history, your covering letter or video, and any assessments you’ve completed. You might also be asked to do some work-based tests and, if you’re applying for a technical role, expect technical questions – we love talking tech.

Step 4

Step 4. 2nd Interview

The second interview typically lasts two hours. You’ll be talking to different people, you may well meet people you’ll be working with, and we’ll allow time for you to ask questions. We don’t have a dress code at Redgate, by the way, so dress in whatever makes you comfortable.

If we think you’d be great at Redgate, we’ll make an offer and iron out any details like relocation issues. If we don’t think you’ll fit in right away, we’ll tell you why. Some people have taken our advice, boned up their knowledge and come back a year later and got a job. It helps.
