Junior/ Mid Level Engineer – (CORE Business Systems)

The Junior/ Mid level engineer role at Redgate is essential to ensuring the business continues to be able to deliver with minimal disruption by supporting end users with bugs and issues to being part of a project team delivering automated solutions.  The role requires you to provide technical understanding to business problems and provide robust solutions with collaboration from the business and your team. You will help shape how the business users get the most value out of our systems we buy or build. We expect good communication at all levels in the business and the ability to draw clear requirements from stakeholders to ensure we build the right thing

 

You should have a technical foundation in C# and preferably APEX to be able to hit the ground running in the team. You will apply agile and lean principles to incrementally release new and improved capabilities, respond to feedback frequently and adapt our approach. You will take pride in your work and want to be part of a team that makes a difference to the way that Redgate works. 

It is an exciting time to join the team as we are embarking on changes to the way we work and deliver. This is also an excellent opportunity to come and learn from other Senior Engineers and develop an understanding of developing and understanding SaaS solutions, such as Salesforce. We have numerous projects in flight and in the pipeline that you will be part of that will expand your skillset.

What would really help? 

  • You are driven by continuous improvement 
  • You are comfortable working within a devops environment and have first-hand experience of this. 
  • You will have worked on implementation and development of SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, Marketing Tools and understand how to integrate SaaS solutions together 
  • You are able to demonstrate strong architecture or design experience 
  • You have experience with supporting internal Customers  
  • You understand the principles and importance of source control
