Today's software developers are being pressured to produce more software at a faster rate. It seems the message of DevOps is often reduced to continuously deliver software every day, as quick as you can. Everyone wants new features completed and customer feedback immediately. Somewhat lost in the message of DevOps, automation, and continuous everything is the idea that we should be improving quality. This session will discuss ways in which you can implement continuous delivery while improving security and quality.

In early 2019, the TECS development team in the Dallas, Texas, office of a Big Four accounting firm embarked on a mission to improve their database development process, to free up developer time for working with the business team on solving client problems. With the help of a SQL Server specialist, the firm introduced DevOps to database development using Redgate's SQL Toolbelt. In this session, Paul will outline the challenges they faced and the impact it has had on their work.
