Redgate’s top tips for PASS Summit 2016
#1 Get registered
If you haven’t already registered for PASS Summit 2016 and the opportunity to meet the people from Redgate face to face, now’s the time. Use our special discount code REDGSILVDR to save $150 on your registration and, if you still need convincing, check out the links in my earlier PASS Summit blog post.
#2 Don’t miss out the other training options
Before PASS Summit even starts, you can begin your training early by heading to SQL Saturday #572 Oregon (just a few hours’ drive south of Seattle) on Saturday, 22 October, for a free day of SQL-related sessions. We’re sponsoring the event and Mickey Stuewe, a Friend of Redgate, will be holding a presentation about SQL Source Control during lunch.
There are also a variety of training options taking place in Seattle before PASS Summit officially starts on the eve of Tuesday, 25 October. The full line-up for the week gives you lots of opportunities to learn, network, and meet other people from the SQL community:

#3 Follow along with the buzz on Twitter
Twitter is a great place to interact and engage with fellow attendees, speakers, and sponsors. You can keep up with the discussions taking place on the conference hashtags, #sqlsummit and #SQLPASS, and listen out for posts from @sqlpass. If you want to find out about social events happening during the week, I recommend following tweets with the hashtag #sqlfamily. And if you’re not following @redgate already, add us for updates in the run-up to, as well as during, PASS Summit.
#4 Get ready to meet Redgate
This year, 19 Redgaters will be attending PASS Summit. A handful are going primarily to attend the conference sessions, while the majority of us will be in the Expo hall, networking with attendees and presenters. I can speak for everyone when I say we’re excited at the prospect of meeting you and sharing the latest updates from the development teams back in the UK.
This year, we’ll be holding an entertaining, interactive ‘How well do you know Redgate?’ quiz. Fun facts about the Redgaters attending PASS Summit will be listed in our pamphlet that will be available on the Redgate booth. The online quiz will test your knowledge of Redgate, so you’ll want to get to know all about us to be in with a chance of winning some awesome goodies.
#5 Enjoy Seattle
Finally, don’t forget to enjoy Seattle itself. To help you make the most of your PASS Summit experience, here are some handy links and blog posts to give you a head start:
