How does upgrading work?

Everyone

… is entitled to upgrade their software to the latest maintenance release free of charge.
For example, if you had version 3.1, you could upgrade to 3.2 at no cost.

I have a support contract …

You can upgrade to any later version of your software at no extra cost.
For example, if you had version 3.1, you could upgrade to 4.0 for free.

I don't have a support contract …

… and I want to upgrade to a later version.

Log in to your account or enter your serial number:

You can find your serial number on your invoice or in the product's About dialog (available from the Help menu).

Which serial number should you provide?
Any serial number from the invoice that contains the product you are checking.
What does my serial number look like?

There are 2 formats you may have:

  • A3DD–DDDD–DDDD–DDDD–DDDD–DDDD
  • 000–000–000000–0000
