What permissions are required by the user running SQL Dependency Tracker?
SQL Dependency Tracker uses the SQL Compare engine code. It therefore requires the same permissions as the user running SQL Compare. Please see:

In addition, if running on SQL Server 2008, you also need to GRANT VIEW SERVER STATE TO <user>.
