The In Progress tab - SQL Backup

The In Progress tab displays the progress of SQL Backup activities that are running for the SQL Server instance or database selected in the Registered SQL Servers pane.

Note that transaction logs that are currently being copied are shown on the Log Copy Queue tab.

The time line also displays the progress of the activity (using striped blocks ).

You can also use the sqbstatus extended stored procedure to view the active SQL Backup processes from within your SQL application (for example, SQL Server Management Studio).

To update the details, on the View menu, click Refresh Connection.

When an activity completes, its details are removed from the In Progress tab, and added to the Activity History.
