Creating backups - SQL Backup

SQL Backup provides the Back Up wizard to guide you through the process of creating a backup. To start the Back Up wizard, click Back Up.

The Back Up wizard comprises the following steps:

Step 1:

Select the SQL Server, and optionally choose a previously saved template.

Step 2:

Select the type of backup, and the database that you want to back up.

Step 3:

Specify the backup file locations (including any network copies), and set options for existing backup files.

Step 4:

Specify compression, encryption, and optimization options.

Step 5:

Specify verification and email options.

Step 6:

Review the backup summary, and start the backup process.
