When starting the SQL Backup interface, the following error message may occur:
The database disk image is malformed
The above error it generally means that the cached backup and restore history database is corrupt. The content of the server data folder must be deleted from the computer which is running the SQL Backup console:
%USERPROFILE%\local settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Server Data
