Step 1: An overview of MS SQL Server's activity history
The Activity History tab under the timeline window displays the latest backup and restore activity on the selected SQL Server. The timeline gives us an interactive, graphical representation of past, present, and future activities. We can zoom in and out of the timeline to view and change the properties of jobs.
We back up a database through the backups wizard, which is launched from the Back Up button on the toolbar.
