What is SQL Object Level Recovery Pro?

SQL Object Level Recovery Pro is a new feature in SQL Backup Pro that enables you to recover individual database objects from a SQL Backup (.sqb) backup file and restore those objects to a database on a server that is licensed with SQL Backup Pro. You can also recover objects from differential backups if original full and differential backups exist. To see how SQL Object Level Recovery Pro works in detail, take a look at the walk-through.

SQL Object Level Recovery Pro can recover individual objects from .sqb SQL Server 2008 backups. This is an advantage over some competing object level recovery solutions that do not offer this support.

Why recover objects instead of full databases?

Your time is valuable. If you only want to recover, for example, a single table from a backup, restoring an entire backup can potentially take hours of time and consume considerable disk space. Performing object level recovery and inserting the object(s) into the relevant database offers both time and disk-space savings.
